But wait there's more...
As they say, "behind every good man there is a good woman"... Joyce Whitby has been working in educational technology since the 1980's and has extensive experience in solution based sales for ed tech products. Joyce has had the privilege of working for cutting edge companies such as Apple Computer, Scientific Learning, VizZle, and SchoolMessenger. Her professional network includes both industry and education thought leaders.
Together, the Whitby's , launched Innovations4Education in 2018. The goal is to connect the dots between education leaders and ed tech publishers. Our goal is to bridge the gap and ensure that the right products find their way into the hands of teachers and students that can benefit. That's an easy sentence to write out, but difficult to implement. It entails doing lots of different types of projects to help develop awareness and proficiencies on both sides of the coin.
We believe that the only thing that we can be sure of is an ever evolving changing world. We believe that need to help teachers prepare their students for this dynamic reality. To us that means both teachers and students using technology as a tool to problem solve, research, collaborate, learn and grow.
Our expertise at Innovations4Education starts with the premise that "people don't know what they don't know". We work on multiple levels to build awareness, share best practices and "connect the dots". So that educators can learn about cutting edge instructional tools and share success stories....and so that developers can gather input directly from educators and continue to iterate and refine their learning technologies.
